During my sophmore year of college I started to try and figure out what it really meant to be a Christian. My parents had always told me we were Christians but we never attended church. Even though I was attending a church my grandparents urged me to go to the Billy Graham crusade. It was the first time in my life that I ever heard the concept that Jesus had actually died for ME. When Billy gave the call I could not believe how many people went up. I thought I now believe this but I will tell someone at the church I was going to. Graciously, the Holy Spirit made me get up and go. What I don’t think most people that have been saved by the crusade realize is how much the Crusade works with local churches. Within the next week I was going to a new church and was now a member of navigators. I thank Billy not only for shwoing me what eternal life meant but for giving me the tools to live as a Born Again Christain from that day on.
